New requirement for Scottish landlords to provide Tenant Information Packs to residential tenants
As of 1 May 2013 it is anticipated that landlords operating in the private residential sector in Scotland will have to provide their tenants with an information pack about the property. The Scottish Government is expected to have secondary legislation in place shortly to bring this into effect.

New PAYE regulations - what employers need to do from 6 April 2013
From April 2013 Real Time Information (RTI) is being introduced, requiring employers to make online submissions of data to HMRC every time employees are paid. Although the Payroll Year End procedure will ultimately be simpler, e.g. P14 and P35 forms will no longer be required; the work involved in processing Payroll throughout the year will increase.
