“We're delighted that we finally have a digital offering that suits Edwin Thompson’s friendly and professional approach.”

We have a fantastic article on the News & Star website today regarding the launch of our new website! Interested in reading it? You can see it HERE!

Edwin Thompson, the multi-discipline practice of chartered surveyors operating nationwide from six offices in the North, is now able to offer new and existing clients a high-quality service.

In recent months the firm has been redesigning and modernising its website and, according to marketing coordinator Camilla Raven, “the old website had fallen behind Edwin Thompson’s high standards.”

Now the site – edwinthompson.co.uk – has a clean-looking, modern feel with improved functionability and a speedier, more professional experience for users.

Camilla said: “We wanted to use a Cumbrian company for our website redesign and worked with The Design Works based in Kendal.

“Both the Edwin Thompson team and The Design Works worked closely together, because we had a specific idea of how we wanted the website to look from the very start.

“We showcase the full range of services we offer and as we are based across six offices in Carlisle, Keswick, and Windermere in Cumbria, Berwick and Newcastle in the North East and Galashiels in the Scottish Borders, the redesign was very much about tailoring to each area and demographic.

“We’re basically a one-stop shop for property-related matters – buying, selling and designing – as well as investment, valuation and management. We focus on delivery of performance and return.”

Edwin Thompson offers:

  • Rural Services
  • Environmental Services
  • Forestry and Woodland Services
  • Renewable Energy Advice
  • Residential Sales and Lettings
  • Residential Property Management
  • Commercial and Residential Valuations
  • Commercial Sales and Lettings
  • Commercial Management
  • Building Surveying
  • Architectural Services

“The architectural portfolio is our new addition we’ve launched on the website,” said Camilla.

“A lot of people don’t realise that we have talented and experienced architects within our firm.

“They’re based in the Keswick and Berwick offices but work all around the UK so the website’s architectural portfolio shows the projects we have been involved with and to show the different services we can provide.

“This could be residential-based architecture, eg, building a single dwelling for someone, or a large commercial development that can include units tailored to companies such B&Q, Pets at Home and Tesco.

“We’ve been in business for over 100 years and we’re delighted to enhance our digital offering that suits Edwin Thompson’s friendly and professional approach.”
