Stas Kubasiewicz RIBA

Stas is a fully qualified Chartered Architect. Of Polish decent he has always lived in the UK and was raised in Carlisle. He graduated from the Birmingham School of Architecture in 2008 and has worked in private practice since 2004. Stas joined Edwin Thompson in 2013.


As an Architect he has worked on a wide variety of projects of varying sizes, types, settings and budgets.  Stas specialise in commercial projects and has experience in public buildings including schools and community buildings. He regularly oversees domestic renovation, conversion and new builds.


The majority of his experience has involved varying scales of urban and rural regeneration, often conversion alongside new build elements, and often in the context of listed buildings and/or conservation areas. Greatly committed to high quality and sustainable architecture, Stas has a deep personal interest in the natural environment and a strong commitment to its conservation. Stas particularly enjoys the refurbishment of historic buildings and has had involvement in several historically important projects including sites with Unesco World Heritage status.


Working directly with clients, consultants and design teams, Stas has a broad range of experience in design, planning and construction management.


Stas is a keen outdoorsman, when he is not spending time with his family, children and dogs, enjoys game fishing and road cycling.
