Old Windebrowe was a refurbishment, modernisation and alteration to a two storey Listed mixed use care Lakeland facility in Keswick owned and operated by the Calvert Trust. Edwin Thompson was appointed as employers agent and contract administrator on this design & build contract which was delivered by Stobbarts Ltd.

The design scheme reorganised the lower floor space originally arranged in apartments, to en-suite rooms with a central corridor, allowing more flexible use of the building, at the same time upgrading the thermal performance of the roof, and introducing a modern fire alarm system, introducing glazed screens partitioning off the old barn hall, and introducing a modern catering kitchen.
