Accounts Department

Edwin Thompson’s Accounts department is staffed by a young, dynamic and qualified team with several years’ experience in dealing with a wide variety of property interests, ranging from one house to an estate to a service charge account, and is continually reviewing procedures to comply with changes in regulations, and improve efficiency and quality of service. They work closely with the Property Managers, suggesting sensible and workable solutions to problems, and liaise directly with clients and their accountants, tenants and contractors.

The department offers a comprehensive service, tailored to meet the client’s needs, including payroll processing, completion of VAT returns, and end of year financial accounts. Client accounts are ring fenced, all incoming funds are allocated on a daily basis and client accounts are also reconciled on a daily basis. The accounting procedures comply with RICS regulations and are audited, both internally and externally, on a regular basis.
